Instant SMS Command „Instant control“

Keep You are in control anytime and anywhere - Request photos or videos and get an immediate response from the camera, or change the camera settings when you need them.

With instant control (SMS Instant Commands), you are connected to the camera at all times. The calculation of the COIN consumption per SMS control command can be found in the Cost overview and service description.

To activate instant control via SMS dispatch, please go to the camera settings.

SMS OFF

SMS control is deactivated. The camera is in normal standby mode.

A connection to the server is only established when sending images or at pre-set dialling-in times. (1H/3H/6H/12H/24H)

Low energy consumption as there is no permanent mains connection.

SMS ON

The camera remains permanently connected to the mobile network.

The camera can receive control commands via SMS at any time and thus immediately carry out desired commands such as sending photos/videos or changing settings.

Increased energy consumption as the connection remains permanently active.

SMS-Light

The camera remains connected to the network for a set time after the image has been sent.

During this time, it behaves as in SMS-ON mode and can receive control commands.

After the time has elapsed, it automatically switches back to energy-saving SMS-OFF mode.

These settings allow flexible customisation depending on the desired accessibility and battery life of the wildlife camera.

We recommend the use of SMS Light mode, as this enables immediate communication „at the stag of the century“ is possible with the camera and, compared to SMS On mode, the battery life is still not affected as much.
